We redesigned the Splash website and supported the client with a content overhaul, resulting in phenomenal SEO growth
Splash is a New York-based tech company with over 200 employees. They offer an event solution made by event pros that provide the tools to create and execute virtual, in-person, and hybrid event programs. They approached us at Rocket SaaS, seeking a modern, unique and lead-generating website to support their 2023 (and beyond) growth plans. Their goals were to find a balance between design creativity, strong content and conversion focus. It was also critical that their content team had full access to edit all elements of the website. They also wanted to make sure that the new website was fully responsive, easily navigable and had a fast load time. Due to the size and high traffic volume of the existing website, a smooth handover and frictionless collaboration with the client’s content and tech teams were key requirements.
The first stage of any successful website project is to take a deep dive into client goals, market research, target customer personas and design inspiration. Based on this research, and working alongside the client’s in-house team, we came up with a website design that was modern and unique, matching the Splash brand and vision. We made sure that the website was responsive and optimised for various screen sizes, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. To improve user experience, we added features such as clear call-to-actions, easy-to-use menus, and Marketo integrations. Together with the client, we agreed to use Webflow as the CMS, giving the client full editing capabilities with a what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor.
The new Splash website we designed and developed exceeded our expectations. The SEO improvements were nothing short of spectacular. Organic traffic rose from an average of 30k per month, doubling to 60k! The website design was modern, visually appealing, and easy to navigate, improving user experience and conversion focus. The responsive design allowed users to access the website on any device, while the simplified navigation process made it easier for clients to browse, book demos and begin free trials of the Splash solution. Overall, our website design and development job for Splash was a huge success, delivering an industry-leading SaaS website that met the client's needs and set them up for considerable business growth.
