The Client

SNAP is the UK’s leading self-service sponsorship platform for grassroots sports. It connects clubs with sponsors, simplifying the entire sponsorship process. With a clear value proposition and strong market potential, SNAP needed to ramp up growth quickly and sustainably.

The Challenge

SNAP had a proven platform and a growing user base, but lacked the in-house resources to run regular campaigns or scale up lead generation. They needed help delivering targeted messaging, educating a diverse audience of clubs and sponsors, and converting interest into signups.

Along with platform sign-ups, SNAP also needed support marketing their lead magnet funnels (mainly webinars) with a consistent stream of relevant, high-quality leads to drive meaningful top-of-funnel prospects at a low cost per acquisition.

Our Solution

Rocket SaaS operated as SNAP’s full-service marketing partner, delivering an integrated programme of paid advertising, educational content, webinar campaigns, website optimisation and user onboarding improvements.

Paid Advertising: Meta and Google Ads

We designed, launched and managed high-performing campaigns across Meta and Google. These targeted both new audiences and engaged visitors through extensive retargeting.

Key elements included:

  • Messaging tailored to clubs, sponsors, and league managers
  • Creative testing using ad styles that didn’t look like ads (e.g. WhatsApp messages, iPhone notes, fake billboards)
  • Multi-layered retargeting funnel to nurture previous website visitors, webinar attendees and email contacts with fresh offers and content
  • Always-on campaigns promoting lead magnets and events

To build trust and awareness across the sports community, we delivered a steady stream of educational content designed to engage clubs and sponsors at an early stage.

Tactics included:

  • Monthly blog posts and in-depth case studies
  • Customer interview features highlighting success stories and real-world results
  • Helpful tips and guidance on topics like season planning, club funding, and re-engaging lapsed sponsors
  • Ebooks and whitepapers used as gated lead magnets to capture email addresses and expand the top of the funnel

All content was repurposed across ads, social, email and landing pages to maximise reach and impact.

Webinar Campaigns

We ran multiple themed webinar campaigns to capture interest from clubs and sponsors. Each webinar was supported by:

  • Custom landing pages
  • Email invites, retargeting and ads
  • Post-event follow-up emails

Each event focused on practical value, industry partnerships or platform walkthroughs.

Replay videos were edited and distributed as gated content and remarketing assets to continue capturing leads long after the live event.

Onboarding & Nurture

As registrations increased, we worked closely with SNAP to improve the journey after sign-up.

Key improvements included:

  • A structured email nurturing sequence to guide new users through platform onboarding
  • Personalised content based on user type (club vs sponsor)
  • Timely nudges to complete set-up, attend webinars, or book a strategy call
  • Simplified language and visuals to improve clarity and reduce drop-off
