In this blog, I’m going to list my 5 LinkedIn content principles that you should stick to.

Challenge yourself to create at least 3 posts per week while engaging with others in your industry, and you’re guaranteed to increase lead gen sustainably.

Influence Map Mastery

Nail your target audience’s journey by mapping your content to their needs. Whether it’s problem discovery, brand awareness, further education, or solution-seeking, hit ’em right where it counts!

Grab ‘Em with a Killer Hook

Craft attention-grabbing statements that stop people scrolling. Examples:

  • “Get more leads for your tech startup
  • Boost revenue with exit popups
  • Single opt-in vs. double opt-in—which one is better?

Repurpose Like a Boss

Struggling with content ideas? Remember that blog post you wrote a while back? Take that content and turn it into 10 blog posts. Then take your top-performing social posts and recreate it as a video.

Create content that keeps on giving!

Leverage native videos

LinkedIn’s algorithm favours native videos uploaded directly to the platform. Create short, informative, and engaging videos to captivate your audience. Include captions for accessibility and ensure videos are optimized for mobile viewing.

Encourage engagement

Prompt your audience to engage with your content by asking questions, inviting opinions, or requesting feedback. LinkedIn’s algorithm considers engagement metrics such as comments, likes, and shares as signals of quality content.

Ads to widen your reach

Don’t just think of ads as lead gen activity, which must get an ROI. Consider boosting LinkedIn social posts to get more ICP eyes on YOUR content. However, Ads can only be run from company LinkedIn accounts.
