Thank you! Now, here’s your marketing tip…

2024 will be here in 60 days. Time flies!

Your sales team are about to start hearing the annoying words, “Let’s revisit this in the new year”. Your marketing audience will have similar thoughts and, therefore, won’t convert.

A great way to capture these feet-dragging prospects is to create a waitlist campaign.

Waitlists are awesome ways to generate middle-of-funnel leads without gating your content.

Here are some waitlist ideas that could work for you:

1. New Product or Feature

A new product or feature will make an excellent waitlist campaign. It will allow you to build anticipation, engage your target audience, and create a sense of exclusivity, leading to a higher likelihood of early adoption.

An example headline would be:

Looking to achieve in 2024? We’re launching <product/feature>. Join our waitlist for early access.

2. New Integration

Are your sales being hindered by not offering that integration? Well, if you’re planning to launch that in 2024, create a waitlist campaign. Begin to gauge interest, generate leads and prevent people from going with a competitor.

An example headline would be:

Desperate to integrate with your software? The wait is almost over!

3. Educational Content

Presumably, your business solves a problem. As we get close to the end of the year, people will be beginning to think, “I must sort that problem out in 2024”. If you’re not planning to launch a new product, feature or integration, you can always create educational content.

Start working on a guide, whitepaper, webinar, event, academy, etc, to launch in 2024. Start gathering interest now. Build excitement and generate leads—double whammy.

An example headline would be:

Looking to solve in 2024? We’re launching <guide/whitepaper/event>. Join our waitlist to be notified.

Waitlists Increase Sales

Signing up for a waitlist requires less commitment than making a purchase.

Prospects only need to be about 15% sure of their interest, making it easier for them to take the first step.

In the competitive SaaS landscape, waitlist campaigns provide an effective way to nurture potential customers, build a community of early adopters, and strategically onboard clients when they are ready, ultimately increasing sales.

We’ve generated over 800 waitlist subscribers in 5 months for our client, InboxFreedom. When they launch, they’ll be off to a flying start. We achieved this using landing pages, Meta ads and email marketing. Want us to do the same for you? Pop me a message by sending an email.
