How to get an extra 15 SaaS leads a week

I learned a super simple and awesomely effective SaaS lead gen tip that I want to share with you.

Implement this, and you’re guaranteed to get more leads into the pipeline.

Survey visitors on your thank you pages

Asking people to book a call without first warming them up or offering value is tough.

But asking someone to book a call when they’re in the moment of intrigue about your brand is easy.

Do this via your lead magnet thank you pages.

Most SaaS thank you pages I see are 1 liners. If you do this, you’re missing out on a huge opportunity.

First, create your lead magnet. Examples:

  • Email Newsletter (like this one!)
  • Webinar
  • eBook / Guide
  • Whitepaper
  • Scorecard

Then create a landing page which promotes the magnet as 100% value, not a sniff of a sales pitch.

Drive traffic to these lead magnets via Ads, email marketing, social media… the usual stuff.

Here comes the magic… after they sign up or download, on the thank you page, embed a Typeform.

Ask a series of questions such as:

  • Location
  • Company size
  • Main pain point or challenge

Some of these can be qualifying questions. If they pass qualification, ask them if they’d like to book a call or start a free trial of your SaaS.

This technique works wonders as the visitor will be “in the moment” with your brand as they are excited to get your lead magnet and, therefore, much more likely to convert.
