I’ve audited 102 SaaS websites this year

My goal: Show them how to increase conversions

By far the most common issue I found 👇🏻

Messaging

For over 70% of the websites I audited, after browsing for 30 seconds, I felt confused about what they actually do and how they would benefit me.

If you want to increase lead generation, it’s MISSION CRITICAL that you get this sorted.

âś… Delete the buzzwords

Stop trying to be clever with brand phrases and buzzwords that your visitors probably don’t understand.

âś… Go easy on the technical descriptions

There’s a time and a place for technical details, and it’s not usually your landing page or homepage. Have a dedicated page for tech chat. An FAQ section can also come in handy.

âś… Adopt the “does what it says on the tin” approach

Have a focus on explaining your product and its benefits as clearly and concisely as possible. Begin your copywriting process with the goal of “Can a five-year-old understand it?”.
