This week, I’m going to outline an ads strategy to get your funnel flowing with leads.
I hear this a lot. This is a naive attitude, as there are so many factors that go into a successful ad campaign.
The #1 reason I see for unsuccessful SaaS ad campaigns is that they are pointing ads to the bottom of the funnel.
I don’t want to book a demo, have a free trial or jump on a sales call with you if I’ve never heard of you before.
Most of your prospects need to flow through your marketing funnel before they are ready to buy.
Use ads to promote your brand awareness content and lead magnet campaigns such as videos, blogs, webinars, workshops, eBooks, whitepapers and email newsletters.
People are MUCH more likely to click on these ads as they are educational and helpful, as opposed to sales ads.
Some senior managers may not like this approach, as they want to see every dollar spent measured against an ROI. It’s your job to convince them to believe in the marketing funnel and trust the process.
Via the Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag, you can create retargeting ads to be seen only by people who have previously visited your website or engaged with your social content.
